From my own experience in seeking to improve my health, I know that making lifestyle changes is no easy task. Changing routines and habits requires hard work and step by step progression that encompasses the whole person. I believe that change does not happen overnight and therefore to best help you I want to invest in your life for more than 1 or 2 visits, but if all you need is 1 or 2 visits to get started — I’m happy to do that as well!
Here is what you can expect when meeting with me:
We take 60-75 minutes to dig into your symptoms, past and current medical history, your goals and ways you’ve tried to reach them in the past, your eating and exercise habits, as well as other key players in overall health such as sleep and stress. By the end of the initial assessment we will develop a plan to get you started. It may be a few simple goals or it may be a whole new meal plan for you to prep and follow. Whatever it is, we want you to leave the office feeling encouraged and hopeful, not overwhelmed!
After we’ve developed your personalized plan in the nutrition assessment, follow ups give us a chance to sit down for ~ 40 minutes and discuss your progress and success as well as the challenges you’ve run into with your plan. If your initial plan didn’t work so well for you, then we’ll tweak it and find what will work. If you were successful with your first goals, we’ll add on others as you feel comfortable to continue your journey toward health and healing. We’ll offer continued education, accountability, and goal setting as needed!
